Interfaith Assembly Speakers Bureau members will present to a group of youth from First Congregational Church in Deep River, CT who are coming to New York to participate in the Midnight Run homeless outreach program.
Actual time and location to be announced.
20 years ago, the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, at 86th street and West End Avenue, was landmarked against the will of the congregation. Since that time, the social justice mission of St. Paul and St. Andrew has been severely constrained by the significant costs of maintaining the bricks and mortar of the church - since landmarking brings with it virtually no funds to preserve the landmarked property.
Interfaith Assembly Speakers Bureau will be presenting to students from St. John's University.
Interfaith Assembly Speakers Bureau will present to 8th graders at Temple Sinai in Tenafly, New Jersey who will be participating in the Midnight Run homeless outreach program the following day.
