Public Hearing to Reduce Homelessness
Start: 10:00 am
End: 3:00 pm

 

A public hearing is to be held at 250 Broadway on the 16th floor starting at 10:00 on the morning of Thursday June 26th.  The city council meeting is open to the public (though a photo ID is required).  The purpose of this hearing is to assess the progress made by the city of New York on its promise to reduce homelessness by 2/3 by the end of 2009 and the impact of recent policies on homeless New Yorkers.
